Going to St. Moritz (The 2nd Day)

　

　

June 30th, 2000 (Fri) Going to the next destination, St. Moritz.

1. Sightseeing Duomo in Milan:
We went to see the Milan gothic church in the morning. The train departure time to Tirano is around 12:30. We have enough time to visit this famous sightseeing spot. I was really surprised to see the church because it was very huge and magnificent construction. After the 2-hour sightseeing there, we went back to the central station by subway. I wanted to walk around in Milan more.

2. Departing for Tirano:
Milan Central Station is one of the very famous train station in Europe. You might see this dome shaped station in a scene of some movie films. The local express train for Tirano departed the station at 12:30pm. Tirano locates the north-east from Milan and one of the gate station between Italy and Switzerland. It took about 2 hours and delayed 30 min. from the actual time table. We, after all, had to run the platform to get the Bernina Express train to St. Moritz. (2 images of Milan Central Station and...)
